Every student learns differently. Whether your child needs homework help catching up, preparing for the next math class, or building confidence, or any other type of math support, I provide personalized online tutoring that helps students truly understand the reasoning behind the math.
Hi, I’m Suzy Mahoney, and I’ve been helping students succeed in math for over 25 years. Throughout my career, I’ve taught middle school, high school, and college mathematics, and I’ve worked with students at every confidence level—from those who struggle with basic concepts to those preparing for advanced courses.
Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for the next course, or simply building confidence, I provide personalized online tutoring using your student’s classroom materials or my own customized materials to help math finally make sense
Select a Weekly Tutoring Membership, Tutoring Package, or One-on-One Tutoring.
Students join Zoom for their scheduled tutoring session.
Students enrolled in a Weekly Tutoring Membership or Tutoring Package work independently in their own private breakout room while I rotate between 3–5 students, providing individualized instruction, asking and answering questions, checking work, and assigning next steps.
Students enrolled in One-on-One Tutoring meet privately with me for the entire session.
In both formats, tutoring can be based on your student’s classroom materials or my own customized lessons and practice activities.
Students leave each session with a stronger understanding of math and greater confidence.
–Mrs. Suzy has worked with all three of our children at different stages of their education. We highly recommend her. She is our family’s first choice regarding all things math! We refer her to multiple friends each year who have all had a great experience with her. Rebekah M.
–Suzy is a fantastic tutor! She knew exactly what our son needed, was super patient, and gave him all the confidence he needed to become successful. We are so thankful that we found her! Kathy B.
–My daughter went from struggling in Algebra to feeling confident before every test. Suzy is patient, encouraging, and explains concepts in a way that finally makes sense. Parent of an Algebra Student
